Lovely vintage earrings Design Grossé, Germany 1968. Made of gold-plated stainless steel with rhinestones, with a beautiful and particular butterfly shape, clip closure, signed Grosse. Excellent condition. Sought-after vintage bijoux with an original shape made in the sixties and signed by one of the most important names in the history of bijoux. The company Henkel & Grosse was founded in 1907 in the German city of Pforzheim, known as the city of goldsmiths. In 1937, Henkel & Grosse received the highest award for fashion jewelry, the “Diplôme d’Honneur” at the World’s Fair in Paris for the progressive and creative implementation of new technologies. Since 1955, the company, today known as Grossé, has been a partner of Christian Dior. For 50 years, it has been supplying the haute couture brand with high-quality luxury fashion jewelry. The company name is synonymous with glamour and quality, the jewelry is gold-plated and the underlying metals are rhodium-plated. In 2009 it was bought by DIOR.
